LNER A4 Pacific 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley and English Electric Type 5 Deltic 55019 Royal Highland Fusilier. Other locos in service over
the weekend included LMS Black 5 45212, SR S15 825, Schools 30926 Repton, and BR Class 37 D6700.
Autumn Steam Gala.
As usual an intensive timetable with the big four and BR all represented, The star guest for the weekend was the unique
BR 8P 71000 Duke of Gloucester, making its first visit to the NYMR. Joining the Duke was Black 5 45231 Sherwood Forester.
The remaining motive power was made up from the NYMR's home fleet: GWR; 5205 class 5224, SR; S15 825, Schools 30926 Repton,
LMS; Black 5 45212, Super D 49395, LNER; A4 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, Q6 63395, and BR; 4MT 75029.
