Summer Gala

We certainly picked the best day regarding the weather for my first visit to the GC this year.
Also tried some new vantage points this time including the ever popular 'Kinchley Lane Bridge'! we must have walked miles
The GC isn't an easy line to access without a photographic pass, but anyway we got some reasonable shots!
Locomotives in action were:- 45305 LMS Black Five .... 4141 GWR 2-6-2T .... 63601 LNER 04
48305 LMS 8F (masquerading as 48182) .... Class 101 2 car Metro Cammel DMU.
78019 BR Standard 02 (in Light Steam) was on Display at Loughborough & Quorn and was also used to propel
70013
'Oliver Cromwell'
to Quorn where she was on Display.
