Doesn't seem 12 months ago since we came to the last MNR diesel gala
but here we are again.
After a week of feeling rather poorly, I felt maybe some fresh air might
be good for me. So braving the strong winds and heavy showers, Ben and
I set off to the MNR to see what was happening. We arrived at Dereham
just in time to see the 11am service to Wymondham pull out. The train
was double headed by visiting Freightliner's 47 847 "Railway
World Magazine / Brian Morrison" and the MNR's
D8069 with 31 235 bringing up the rear. Also
visiting was Cotswold Rail's 47 316 "Cam Peak"
other MNR locos in service was 50 019 "Ramillies"
